About Yay Clay!

There’s a reason YAY CLAY has repeatedly been named Best Kids’ Class by Philadelphia Magazine – it’s because we offer tons of classes in a really fun atmosphere at ridiculously reasonable prices. Check out our schedule and let us know when you want to come and what you want to do here!

The Yay Clay! story…

Way way back in 2008, Keith Grabowsky had a vision of combining his two passions: clay and teaching. He began teaching private and group lessons in NJ and very soon had a loyal (and growing) following. After a move to Philadelphia and an extensive search for the perfect location, YAY CLAY! opened their doors in 2014, and has been named – repeatedly – one of Philadelphia’s hottest date spots as well as the #1 Kid’s Class.

YAY CLAY!’s sprawling 1700sf light-filled studio is located in the thriving art community of Port Richmond in “The Loom South” building. TechnicallyPhilly notes “With its 80 tenants in the 250,000 square foot space at roughly Franklin and Allegheny Avenues, The Loom hosts the largest collection of artisans in the city.” YAY CLAY! is proud to be part of this community and is committed to keeping the artistic legacy alive in Port Richmond. If you have further questions about the studio or our classes, check out our FAQ page.
