Join us for a Clay Date Class. This two hour wheel throwing class is designed for beginners. We will walk you through the process of making your first pieces of pottery on the wheel. Before you leave, you select the glaze that will go on the piece. We take care of firings and glazing, and your work will be ready to pick up 4 weeks from the day of the class.

In this class, students will learn how to create basic ceramic forms on the pottery wheel. Topics include mugs, vases, bowls, handles, glazing, form, function, and design. Lessons will be designed for beginners and tailored towards individuals and their goals.
All materials are included during class times. The course includes 16 hours of open studio per month. Clay and glaze firings must be purchased separately during open studio time..

In this workshop, we will explore post-firing reduction and saggar firing in a propane kiln. Both of these firings create unique and interesting surfaces through a hands-on process.
