Our 1500 sq ft ‘Mud Club’ studio is designed to be a space where members can work autonomously amongst the community. Applicants with a solid understanding of the ceramic process and safety practices are best suited for membership with us. We bisque fire to cone 04 and glaze fire to cone 6. All loading, firing, and unloading of kilns are managed by our staff and vetted work exchange members. Members are responsible for purchasing their own clay which we supply in-house and covering firing costs for glazed pieces only.
I’ve been a member of Yay Clay! for several months now, and it’s become my creative sanctuary. The new Mud Club studio is an absolute gem—having 24/7 access to a fully equipped studio is a game-changer. I love the freedom to work when it’s convenient for me. The vibe is friendly, the equipment top-notch, and the community is incredibly supportive.
